I am currently VP, Associate Creative Director at McCann Global Health and previously Associate Creative Director at McCann Health New Jersey. Before these recent gigs, I worked for many years as a freelance creative director and copywriter. Previously, I was at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness for 8 years where I held a creative leadership role. Upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, I began my career in public relations (PR). However, my two PR stints were brief and served to solidify my interest in healthcare marketing and my desire to pursue a career that was creative, strategic, and writing centric. So I bid farewell to press releases and media outreach and transitioned into advertising

Creative Director working directly with clients and with agency partners on corporate, consumer, and healthcare brands, across a range of audiences and platforms. With 20 years in the advertising industry, I have intensive experience with prescription (Rx) and over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products across disease states, targeting both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients, as well as expertise with both consumer and corporate branding and promotion.

Vice President, Group Copy Supervisor training and supervising teams of copywriters and managing the HCP copy development for the blockbuster prescription medication NEXIUM. In honing my writing, creative, strategic, and management abilities over the years, I continuously expanded my capabilities, garnered more responsibility, and quickly rose through the ranks from Copywriter to VP.

Spearheaded creative presentations and new business pitches, negotiated with regulatory committees, collaborated with consumer creative teams, and partnered with strategic planners. Worked on a range of leading Rx pharmaceutical brands throughout their life cycles, from launch through LOE, including: Crestor, Enbrel, Clarinex, Fragmin, and Coreg and medical devices, such as GlucoWatch.

Senior Broadcast Manager promoting video and radio news releases and satellite media tours for both consumer and prescription pharmaceutical and biotech clients, including: Astrazeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, Elli Lilly, Genentech, MedImmune, Novartis, Schering Plough, and Wyeth-Ayerst.

Wrote publicity materials in support of broadcast campaigns. Developed pitching and distribution strategy for video news releases, satellite media tours, radio news releases, and radio media tours. Managed development of scripts. Consulted with producers and clients in identifying news hooks and crafting stories. Counseled and supervised publicists.

Conducted media outreach, pursuing short and long lead outlets, maintaining ongoing media relations and placing print and broadcast stories. Developed account strategy and annual program activities.
